DIY Fall Topiaries

DIY

I really wanted cute topiaries for my front porch but didn’t see something I really liked at the right price, so I made my own!

Here is what you need to get my look.

First, I painted 2 pumpkins orange since I didn’t like the plastic orange color and added white dots.

Then I spray painted 4 pumpkins white. On 2 of the pumpkins, I used the green paint and the stencil to create a fine pattern.

On the remaining 2 white pumpkins I painted gingham pattern with gray and black paint. To get this effect first paint every other strip of the pumpkin vertically gray. Then on the white strips paint 3 squares that will look like 3 horizontal strips. Finally, in between 2 gray boxes on the vertical gray strip paint a black square the same size.

Then glue the topiary together, adhere to the styrofoam base and put the base in the planter urn. To finish off the look add moss around the base to hide the styrofoam.

Then decorate!
